HISTORY

Established in 2002 in Istanbul under the brand name TURKTEX.

With the first 1500 m2 production facility established at the end of 2007, we started to carry out the processes they had made with contract manufacturing within our own structure.

Due to the increasing customer demands over time, the air texturing production capacity was increased in 2010 and the 5000 m2 production facility located in “Demirtaş Organize Sanayi Bölgesi” was started.

The first polypropylene yarn spinning process investment was realized in 2012.

In order to meet the requirements of the increasing market share and the intense production demands, the foundations of the new factory in DOSAB in 2014 were laid.

The first polyester yarn spinning process investment was realized in 2015.

This innovative journey that started in 2002, based on professional experience and intellectual knowledge; continues step by step in the light of innovative ideas.

Today, TURKTEX produces countless projects in an area of ​​approximately 35,000 m2 with more than 350 employees.

TURKTEX has become one of the outstanding companies on a global scale with its high value-added products manufactured in the continuous filament sector, especially for polyester and polypropylene yarns.

R&D

TURKTEX R&D Center, with its 20 people expert team, was approved with the R&D Center certificate it received in 2018, a creative, competitive in the sector, carried out on a systematic basis to increase knowledge and use it to design new processes, systems and applications, including software, started to work on products and ideas.

Thanks to its outstanding team of experts, continuous technology, machinery and training investments, TURKTEX is increasing its ability to meet customer needs and customer satisfaction day by day. Qualified experts working in the R&D department provide high-quality and continuous new product development support for the textile market with high-quality machines with industrial equipment.

The R&D Center continues to work with 10 R&D projects, 1 TUBITAK project, 9 domestic registered trademarks, 1 foreign registered trademark, 5 design registration certificates. The outputs obtained within the scope of the developed projects are presented with papers or posters at the relevant symposiums and congresses to contribute to the literature and lead the industry.
